Weather Chasers Group Training of Trainers Workshop,

This week CCODE is participating in the “Weather Chasers Group Training of Trainers Workshop,” organized by Lilongwe City Council and DODMA, in collaboration with the Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services with support from European Union (DG-ECHO) and UN-HABITAT

The formation of the “Weather Chasers Group” for Lilongwe City Council will play a key role in the Early Warning Systems in the city as it will be linked to the National Weather chasers group as well as community Weather chasers groups. Overall, this will bolster disaster preparedness in the city of Lilongwe.

CCODE remains committed to supporting early warning systems and disaster risk management, ensuring our communities are safer and more resilient in the face of climate risks.
